Hope Christian Academy gives the nationally standardized TerraNova 3 assessment test and the InView cognitive skills and abilities assessment test every year to every student. Parents can carefully watch their student's academic progress. A unique feature of the testing offered through the Association of Christian Schools International is that it tests Bible knowledge as well. HCA students are tested and compared to students throughout the United States in academic subjects, and in Bible knowledge to other Christian School students from across the world.
HCA student scores average 1 - 1½ years ahead of grade level averages on these tests. HCA administrates PLAN tests to sophomores, the PSAT to juniors, and helps juniors and seniors register to take the ACT or SAT college entrance exams. Several college bound HCA graduates have scored in the 90th percentiles, even to the 99th percentile nationally!
